The global healthcare company Ceragem hosted a ceremony to build Ceragem Dream School No.1 in India on November 17^th. The ceremony was joined by President Kim Sang-sik, CEO Kim Hyun-yeon of the Ceragem’s India Branch, directors, school principals, students, local officials, and distinguished local residents.

Starting with Mumbai, Ceragem made inroads into the Indian market in 2005. Currently, Ceragem maintains many centers across India, providing unique opportunities for people of India to enjoy a healthy, high quality of living through experience programs.

In addition, Ceragem is actively engaged in social contribution programs for Indian communities. Especially, the Ceragem Dream School project is intended to improve quality of the educational environment in India. With the slogan of “Children’s Future Is India’s Future,” the project aims to offer support and investment so that children can focus on learning in a high quality educational environment.

Depending on the conditions of the schools, Ceragem will support the project in diverse ways including the installation of libraries, donations of books and school supplies, facility maintenance, or scholarship contribution. The company plans to expand the project, supporting two schools or more per year.

President Kim Sang-sik stated: “The most important thing in achieving Ceragem’s dream of high quality living for people around the world is cultivating a bright future and the future of countries and mankind starts with children.” He went on, “With the same dreams and visions for over 70 countries including India where Ceragem is located, we will continue to expand investment and infrastructures for social contribution.”

CEO Kim Hyun-yeon of the Ceragem’s India Branch also made the wish, “We hope that Ceragem’s Dream Schools will help produce outstanding leaders and grow into excellent schools leading the future of India."

Ceragem focuses on five business areas from thermal massagers to Naviel, Club Balance 5, and cosmetics. It has practiced diverse corporate social responsibility programs in Korea as well as foreign countries including China, India, Germany, and Chile.
