President Kim Sang-sik of Ceragem, the global health care company, was awarded the ‘2016 Korea CEO Award’ in the global management field held in Grand Hyatt Seoul on Nov. 24.

President Kim Sang-sik was selected through strict examination by a screening committee comprised of experts from various fields. He successfully explored the markets after establishing the Ceragem branch in China and achieved astonishing sales records on the basis of his successful business experience in Korea. Furthermore, the Korea CEO Award recognized his progressive contribution toward exploring global markets for the further development of all the global branches on the basis of the success in China.

In particular, President Kim Sang-sik increased support to the branches abroad whose sales were poor, to stimulate the development of all the international branches following his inauguration as the global business CEO. He has endeavored to stabilize and advance all international Ceragem branches with a long-term perspective by spreading honest and transparent management to all countries through ongoing training for all employees and officers every quarter.

Ceragem has thousands of distribution networks (agencies) in about 70 countries including Europe and Latin America with the USA as the starting point after developing its automatic warmer in 1999. Ceragem’s main business models are the warmer, Nabiel, Club Balance 5 and cosmetics. Ceragem has been holding the leading market share in warmer markets as a global company specialized in health care.

The ‘2016 Korea CEO Award’, greeting its 4^th anniversary this year, is organized by the Dong-A Ilbo and supported by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning and the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
